N95 Mask vs Surgical face Mask

        Masks are playing important role in our day to day life and it not only used in medical field but also in various field.

   Here let us see some difference between N95 mask vs Surgical mask....

N95 mask;

N95 mask

        #  N95 mask are made from polypropylene a synthetic plastic fibre this plastic fibre have some electro static force and that static force made them more efficient filter material.

       #   This mask filter out contaminated particals like dust,mists and fumes. The size of 3 micron particals  and large drop let's won't pass through the barrier, it was conformed by CDC (Centrals for Disease Control and Prevention) .

        #   This mask is completely sealed at the edges and only one 3 micron opening valve at the center position.

    

 N; this represent the respiratory rate letter class. It stands for Non Oil based pasticals are protected and oil based product may enter in it 

         R (95) mean resistant to oil for 8 hour.

          P (95) mean oil proof.

95; it represent this mask is 95% efficient to air born diseases and other harmfully factors.

This N95 mask marked by Oru government as a completely productive one ftom corona virus.

Surgical face mask:

         Surgical mask are made up of three productive layer ok spun bond fabric of 40-50 GSM and the inner most layers are made up of 20-25GSM.

     #  It loose fitting disposable device that created a physical barrier between the mouth and nose of wearers from contaminated particals.

    #  This surgical masks are not be shared  and it must be disposed after it's using in way of land filling or incineration . It has the ability to protect  large particals of droplets ,splashes ,sprays but this mask doesn't filter  or block very small particals in air and also it not prodect you form germs because of the loose fit between the surface of the mask and your face 

  #  It have no worth to use  more then once and it just keep you away from droplets not from contamination..
