ALANGU;
This dog is famous for it gaigantic look, agressive behaviour,
loyal to owners and etc. This dogs weight upto 70-89kg, and hight upto 76-86cm and its life span upto 6-13 years .
It's also called as Indo pakistani mastiff,sindhi mastiff,Indian bully,Indian mastiff,bully kutta.
These massive breeds are now found in Pakistan,Punjab,Rajasthan,and some pinches in Tamil Nadu,these dog are rear for illegal bloody dog fights in pakistan ,it is conducted as a festivel and a massive group of fan base for this agressive matches and the winning dogs is consider as strongest dog ,it puppies were sold out in high priceses and some rural farmers of punjab rear it to safe guard their farms and farm animals.
Alangu has agressive behaviour as much then foreign breeds such as rottweiler,Doberman,Dane,Pitbull but control minded dogs very intelligent and active personality and it's skin fold like a blanket due to ageing ,it belong to the mastiff breed it is a only mastiff in Indian native breed.

Alangu has a great back ground in tamil history , 1000 years ago Alangu dogs were used as war machines and great guard for jails by our Cholan empire these dogs has great responsibility in those periods ,it has strong evidance that sculptures and painting of Alangu mastiff were found in Thanjavur Big temple and Darasuram temple .
6000 years ago evidance of Alangu dog were used by Tamil people those lived in in Indus valley civilization and excavation in Keezhadi in 2017 they found a skeletal syatem of huge dog size nearly like to an adult lion. In british India period british created several mastiff breed by crossing Indian line age bully kutta with english mastiffs to kick out these terefic breed from India and then it completely forgotten by Tamil people( a shame full one) but now some people trying to regain the population of pure Alangu in Tamil Nadu" realy a great job" Aim bloger tanking for them to bringing back our prides.
